After testing this card thoroughly, I would highly recommend the card. For the price, and midrange nature, the card performs amazingly. Playing all the games of the day and one coming soon title, the card displayed beautiful rendering and frame rates were astonishing. The games ran smoothly. The 512mb version may be a little bit low for texture memory. I have no doubt in my mind that the 1GB version for a few dollars more would perform with less load lag. In Lord of the Rings Online, the textures were absolutely stunning. The water reflections and tree shadows were so breathtaking, almost realistic. Team Fortress 2 ran like a champ. During normal play, I got more than 100 FPS. In the heat of a full battle, scouts flying, heavy’s rolling, and pyro’s burning (as well as demo’s exploding) a very respectable 60 FPS.

I would highly recommend this card to mid to semi-serious gamers. It has good performance, nice features, and a great price point. Hardcore gamers could use this card as well, although the performance could not match the newly released 4890. But for around $130, this card is near impossible to beat. Great performance for the buck and that is what ATI/AMD is about. Sapphire has made a great video card with this chipset.

Thanks to Don from Sapphire for providing the video card.
